THE SHAPE

The Junde teapot epitomises the classic flattened pear-shaped style. Crafting its flat silhouette without it losing shape demands considerable skill and finesse from the potter.

This teapot exudes a captivating tension, with its vibrant clay hues hinting at a fearless spirit. Yet, it also carries an air of refined elegance, akin to that of a cultured gentleman, which is quite endearing indeed.
Sporting a rounded body, shallow depth, and generous mouth, the teapot boasts a gracefully curving spout that reaches skywards, perfectly aligned with the mouth's height to ensure a smooth pour.
The knob, with its rounded shape, forms part of a trio of concentric circles when viewed from above, alongside the lid and body, adding a delightful sense of rhythm to its design.
Every detail, from the handle to the lid, knob, and foot, has been meticulously proportioned for harmony. Overall, the teapot exudes simplicity and grandeur, with a modest yet dignified air. 鼓腹、身浅、口阔，三弯流朝天，与壶口高度持平，出水顺畅。
壶钮为圆钮，俯视看，壶钮、壶盖、壶身形成三个由小到大的圆，十分有韵律感。
