Singapore Cellar Collection
Mt. Bulang is one of Yunnan’s most respected tea regions, known for producing PuEr teas with strength, structure and exceptional aging potential.
This Sheng PuEr tea was made from arbor tree leaves harvested in Spring 2013 and has been resting in our Singapore cellar since production.
Over the past decade the tea has slowly evolved, developing depth while retaining the unmistakable character of classical Bulang Mountain tea.
Classical Character of Mt. Bulang
Bulang teas are widely appreciated for their strong structure and distinctive bitterness which gradually transforms into returning sweetness.
With time, the tea develops a thicker body, deeper flavor and a long lingering aftertaste. This strength and durability are what make Bulang teas particularly suitable for long-term aging.
After more than a decade in clean Singapore storage, this tea has begun to soften while still maintaining the powerful character expected from classical Bulang Mountain material.
Traditional Aging Structure
The tea has been preserved in its traditional aging structure:
• Paper wrapped tea cakes
• Bamboo tong (7 cakes)
• Bamboo case (6 tongs)
• Outer carton
Maintaining this structure allows the tea to continue its slow and natural post-fermentation, supporting stable long-term aging.
Collectors often prefer to keep PuEr tea in this original format rather than breaking the packaging.
Collector Formats
This tea is available in formats preferred by collectors and long-term tea drinkers.
Single Cake
A traditional large cake format suitable for tasting or starting a personal collection.
Bamboo Tong
Seven cakes are kept for aging while one cake may be opened to follow the tea’s development over time.
Collector Case
For collectors building a longer-term PuEr cellar, the tea is also available in the original bamboo case format.
Each case contains six bamboo tongs, preserving the tea exactly as it has rested in storage since 2013.
Singapore Cellar Storage
Many collectors prefer to store PuEr tea outside highly humid climates.
Our Singapore cellar provides clean and stable aging conditions, allowing the tea to evolve slowly while maintaining clarity and structure.
Collectors may also choose to leave their tea stored in our cellar, allowing the tea to continue aging under professional storage conditions.
Current Cellar Allocation – Lot 6
Initial production of this tea was 100 bamboo cases.
Over the years, many cakes have gradually been placed with collectors.
The current cellar release is:
24 original cases
(1008 tea cakes)
Once these are gradually allocated, the remaining tea will simply continue aging in the cellar.

Cake Weight
These cakes were pressed slightly larger than the traditional 357g format.
The additional weight allowed the cakes to be compressed more firmly and evenly, helping the tea maintain its structure during long-term aging.
A slightly tighter compression slows early aging and helps preserve the floral and fruit aromatics that develop as Bulang teas mature.

Properly stored, this tea will continue to develop depth, sweetness and complexity for many years to come.

本茶选用布朗山老树春茶原料,于2013年压制成饼,长期存放于新加坡茶仓自然陈化。
茶饼保持传统笋壳整件结构,适合长期收藏与后期醇化。
