Created by Xiu Guangming, Fu Lu Shuang Zhi is an original patented two-cup design inspired by one of China’s most enduring auspicious symbols — the gourd.
Individually, they are two functional tea cups.
Stacked together, they form a complete Hu Lu 葫芦 — a traditional symbol whose pronunciation echoes Fu Lu 福禄, meaning blessings, prosperity and good fortune.
More importantly, the pair represents harmony without sameness — 和而不同: two individual vessels, complete on their own, yet becoming something greater when brought together.
In 2024, Fu Lu Shuang Zhi was selected as a designated gift for the China-Russia Business Forum, an official event of the BRICS Summit.

This Ji Blue edition is produced in Jianyang, Fujian, the historical home of Jian ware.
The certificate records the material as natural mineral glaze and clay, with individual anti-counterfeit identification.
Its deep Ji Blue surface gives the otherwise traditional gourd form a clean, restrained character — especially suitable for collectors who prefer a less decorative, more architectural aesthetic.
